The NFL schedule release was on Wednesday, and we can now start planning our fall Sundays. The Philadelphia Eagles have a big season ahead of them after a disappointing finish to last year, and Eagles fans are excited for the season after seeing the schedule. Let’s take a look at each game the Eagles have and predict their wins and losses.

Week 1 vs. Green Bay Packers

The Eagles are starting out their regular season with a unique matchup against a team on the rise, the Packers. The game will also be played in Brazil. Green Bay got out to a slow start last season, but they turned on the jets at the end of the year and ended up making a good run in the playoffs. The Packers are expected to be good this season, and they are going to hand Philadelphia a loss in week one. LOSS.

Week 2 vs. Atlanta Falcons

Philadelphia has another big one in week two as all eyes of the NFL world will be on this Monday Night Football game. The Falcons have a unique situation at quarterback right now after signing Kirk Cousins and then drafting Michael Penix Jr. It will be interesting to see who trots out there for them in this primetime matchup. It doesn’t matter who, however, the Eagles are getting it done. WIN.

Week 3 at New Orleans Saints

In week three, the Eagles will play their first true road game as they will head to New Orleans to play the Saints. The Saints have been decent in recent years, and being at home in this one will give them some sort of advantage, but they aren’t going to get it done. The Eagles will come in and get a close road victory. WIN.

Week 4 at Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Last season, the Eagles lost in the first round of the playoffs against the Buccaneers on the road. They will head back to Tampa Bay in week four with a chance to avenge that loss, but it’s not going to be easy. The Buccaneers should have a solid squad once again this season, and they are going to find a way to defend home turf. LOSS.

Week 5 – BYE

Week 6 vs. Cleveland Browns

Week six will be just the second home game of the season for the Eagles as the Browns will be coming to town. Cleveland shouldn’t be a threat next season and it’s hard to see them going on the road to Philadelphia and getting a win in this game. The Eagles will improve their record to 3-2. WIN.

Week 7 at New York Giants

The Eagles surprisingly lost to the Giants last season, and they aren’t going to let that happen again this year. New York will likely be one of worst teams in the league yet again, and Philadelphia knows that they need to take advantage of games like this and get wins. That is exactly what they are going to do in week seven on the road. WIN.

Week 8 at Cincinnati Bengals

This week eight match up between the Eagles and Bengals is going to be a good one. Hopefully Joe Burrow is at 100% so we can see him and Jalen Hurts battle it out on the big stage while they’re both at their best. This should end up being a great game, and the Eagles are going to find a way to get a win on the road. WIN.

Week 9 vs. Jacksonville Jaguars

Another big game in week nine for the Eagles as Trevor Lawrence and the Jaguars will be coming to town for Sunday Night Football. This should be another great game with two great QBs going up against each other, and the Eagles are going to get a big win in front of their home crowd to improve to 6-2. WIN.

Week 10 at Dallas Cowboys

This is one of the biggest games of the season for the Eagles and the Cowboys. Whenever these two rivals get together, it’s going to be good. Dallas and Philadelphia should both be very good yet again next season, and both of their head-to-head games should have big implications on the division race. The Cowboys are going to take round one in Dallas. LOSS.

Week 11 vs. Washington Commanders

The Commanders struggled a lot last season and we are likely going to see much of the same next year. Washington and New York will likely be the bottom two teams in the division yet again, with Dallas and Philadelphia finishing as the top two teams. The Eagles shouldn’t have much trouble getting it done at home against the Commanders. WIN.

Week 12 at Los Angeles Rams

This is going to be a tough road matchup for the Eagles and they are once again going to be back in a primetime game. These two playoff teams are going to do battle from Los Angeles on Sunday Night Football, and it should be another exciting matchup. Expect a close one, but the Rams are going to find a way to get it done at home. LOSS.

Week 13 at Baltimore Ravens

The road isn’t going to get any easier for the Eagles the following week when they have to hit the road to take on the Ravens. Baltimore should end up being in the Super Bowl conversation yet again, and they are going to be an extremely tough out for anybody next year. Going on the road and beating them is a tall task, and the Eagles aren’t going to do it. LOSS.

Week 14 vs. Carolina Panthers

The Panthers are going to be an interesting team to watch this season as they have former first overall pick Bryce Young as their starting QB. They didn’t do so well during his rookie season last year, but another offseason under his belt should be big, and they are looking to improve. They will not be winning in a Philadelphia, however. WIN.

Week 15 vs. Pittsburgh Steelers

The Steelers are coming to Philadelphia in week 15 before the Eagles finish out the regular season against all three divisional opponents. This will be a good opportunity for Philadelphia to get a win and get some momentum going into that crucial stretch. The Steelers are going to be interesting to watch as they have Justin Fields and Russell Wilson competing for the starting QB job. It doesn’t matter who it will be, they will leave Philadelphia with a loss. WIN.

Week 16 at Washington Commanders

Philadelphia will hit the road for the final time in the regular season in week 16 as they will be taking on the Commanders for the second time. The Eagles once again shouldn’t have any trouble with this Commanders team that will not be good. They will get a victory on the road. WIN.

Week 17 vs. Dallas Cowboys

This one could end up being for all the marbles in the NFC East. The Cowboys and Eagles are going to both be fighting for the division crown yet again, and this week 17 clash will be a big one. The prediction for their first contest in Dallas went to the Cowboys, and the same result will happen in Philadelphia as well. LOSS.

Week 18 vs. New York Giants

The final game of the regular season for the Eagles will be against the Giants at home, and this should end up being an easy way for them conclude the year. The Eagles should be able to go on the road and take down New York, and they won’t have trouble getting a win at home either. They’ll close the season out with a W. WIN.

Final Record: 11-6

The Eagles end up with an 11-6 record after these predictions. That’s a pretty solid season, and if they do finish with that record, they will likely be going to the playoffs again.
